Customized process for aluminum profile mold opening:

① : Detailed understanding of mold product parameters based on usage requirements, such as specifications, mechanical properties, and morphological structure (the difficulty of product specifications, dimensions, and structure directly affects the cost investment of mold customization);

② Based on the above understanding, technicians have started to issue design drawings and technical parameters;

③ : Both parties shall confirm the drawings and stamp them for record keeping (purpose: to ensure that any disputes arising from product issues can be verified in the future);

④ Develop molds (molds are an important part of the production of 6063 series aluminum profiles, which determine the structural form of the profiles), and test mold accuracy (mold design accuracy control range ± 0.02mm);

⑤ According to the developed mold, conduct sample extrusion and confirm the sample. Once the sample is correct, mass production can proceed;

Precision control of aluminum profile extrusion molds:

The precision extrusion technology for aluminum profiles requires very strict process requirements, including extrusion equipment, extrusion molds, and extrusion technology during the production process. The product accuracy value is controlled within a range of ± 0.04mm;

 

The design accuracy and material technology of the mold are the main factors that directly affect the quality and dimensional accuracy of aluminum profiles in the later stage. The selection of mold materials must meet the requirements of high hardness, high temperature resistance, and friction resistance; The normal working environment temperature of the extrusion mold is around 500 ℃, and the yield strength of the mold material under high temperature environment should not be less than 1200N/mm2; The friction resistance of the mold in high temperature environments is mainly reflected in the hardness and thickness of the nitride layer. Generally, the hardness of the nitride layer should be above 1150HV, and the thickness should be between 0.25mm and 0.45mm. The accuracy change of the mold after nitriding should be controlled within 0.02mm. Aluminum forming requires molds, usually extrusion forming, which also requires aluminum molding.

 

The processing method of producing the desired product by extruding the billet from the hole or gap of the mold under the action of non-uniform compressive stress in three directions is called extrusion, which reduces the cross-sectional area and increases the length. This processing of the billet is called extrusion forming.

 

Extrusion, especially cold extrusion, has a high material utilization rate, improved material structure and mechanical properties, simple operation, high productivity, and can be used to produce long rods, deep holes, thin-walled, and special-shaped section parts. It is an important non cutting machining process. Extrusion is mainly used for the forming of metals, and can also be used for the forming of non-metallic materials such as plastics, rubber, graphite, and clay billets.

 

During extrusion, the billet generates three-dimensional compressive stress, and even the billet with lower plasticity can be extruded into shape.
