1.design the mold
The first step in stamping die processing is to design the die. The designer draws the mold drawings according to the product requirements and process flow. Mold design needs to take into account the shape, size, material and processing technology of the parts and other factors to ensure that the mold can accurately process the required parts.
2.make molds
Making die is the core of stamping die processing. First, according to the design drawings, make the mold model. This step can be processed using CNC machine tools, EDM machines and other equipment. Then, the model is transformed into a mold for actual use. This step requires the use of milling machines, grinding machines and other equipment for accurate processing to ensure that the size and shape of the mold meet the requirements. Finally, the mold is heat treated to enhance its hardness and wear resistance.
3.debugging mold
The finished mold needs to be debugged to ensure that it can operate normally. The process of debugging the mold includes the assembly, adjustment and testing of the mold. When assembling the mold, the various parts need to be correctly assembled together to ensure that the movement trajectory and positioning of the mold are accurate. When adjusting the mold, it is necessary to fine-tune the mold according to the actual situation to eliminate possible errors. When testing the mold, it is necessary to install the mold on the punch press, conduct mold trial operation, and check the operation and processing effect of the mold.
4.production parts
The debugging mold can be formally produced. In the production process, the operator needs to place the metal sheet to be processed on the punch press and press it according to the process requirements. During the stamping process, the die applies pressure to the sheet metal to cut it into the desired shape. After the stamping is completed, metal parts with a certain size and shape can be obtained.
5.Check the parts
The parts produced need to be inspected to ensure that their quality is up to the requirements. The inspection process includes appearance inspection, dimensional measurement and functional testing. The appearance inspection is mainly to check whether the surface of the parts has defects, deformation or scratches. Dimensional measurement requires the use of measuring tools to accurately measure the size of the part to ensure that it is consistent with the design requirements. Functional testing is the assembly and operation of parts to check whether they can be used normally.
6.repair the mold
After continuous production for a period of time, the mold may be worn or damaged. At this time, the mold needs to be trimmed to ensure its normal use. The process of finishing the mold includes cleaning the mold, replacing parts and repairing damage. When cleaning the mold, it is necessary to remove the dirt and residue on the mold to keep the mold clean. When replacing parts, the damaged parts need to be replaced to restore the function of the mold. When repairing damage, repair welding or heat treatment of the mold is needed to repair the damaged area.
