一、 Basic Overview of Stamping

The basic principle of stamping is to use a mold to apply pressure to the material, causing it to undergo plastic deformation. 四、 Mold type
According to different stamping processes and product requirements, there are various types of molds, and the following are common ones:

The selection of mold materials directly affects the service life of the mold and the quality of the product. Common mold materials include:
1. Carbon steel: It has certain strength and toughness, and is suitable for simple mold making.
2. Low alloy steel: With high strength and toughness, it is suitable for making molds with complex shapes.
3. High carbon and high alloy steel: With high strength and toughness, it is suitable for the production of high load and high wear resistant molds.
4. High speed steel: With extremely high thermal hardness and wear resistance, it is suitable for high-precision and long-life mold production.
5. Hard alloy: With high hardness, high wear resistance, and good high-temperature performance, it is suitable for mold making of difficult to machine materials.
6. Other materials: such as polymer resin, ceramics, etc., suitable for mold making for specific purposes.
六、 Mold processing
Mold processing is a key step in manufacturing molds, including the following steps:
1. Material preparation: Prepare materials according to mold design requirements.
2. Rough machining: rough machining of materials to form approximate shapes and dimensions.
3. Semi precision machining: Further precision machining is carried out on the rough machined mold to achieve higher accuracy requirements.
