Working principle of stamping forming molds
Stamping forming mold is a commonly used tool for processing metal sheets. It places the metal sheet between two molds and applies pressure to cause plastic deformation, thereby obtaining the desired shape of the part. The working principle of stamping forming molds is based on the principles of material plastic deformation and mold mechanics.
The working principle of stamping forming molds involves the process of material plastic deformation. When the metal sheet is subjected to external forces, the internal grain structure changes, and the metal atoms rearrange, resulting in plastic deformation of the metal sheet. 2. Manufacturing of molds: According to the design drawings, manufacture the upper and lower molds. The manufacturing process includes steps such as mold material selection, processing and manufacturing, and heat treatment.
3. Mold installation: Install the upper and lower molds on the punching machine, ensuring the position and alignment of the upper and lower molds.
4. Prepare metal sheets: Prepare metal sheets and cut and pretreat them according to the shape and size of the parts.
5. Start stamping: Place the metal sheet between the upper and lower molds, and apply pressure through the punch to change the shape of the stamping chamber between the upper and lower molds. The metal sheet undergoes plastic deformation under the action of the mold, ultimately obtaining the desired shape of the part.
6. Inspection of parts: After stamping is completed, take out the parts for inspection to check whether the dimensions and surface quality of the parts meet the requirements.
