Reduce tool idle stroke

In the BIEJING-FANUC Power Mate O CNC lathe, the movement of the tool is driven by a stepper motor. Although there is a fast point positioning command G00 in the program command, it still appears to be inefficient compared to the feed method of an ordinary lathe. Therefore, in order to improve the efficiency of machine tools, it is necessary to improve the operating efficiency of the cutting tools. The idle stroke of the tool refers to the distance traveled by the tool when it approaches the workpiece and returns to the reference point after cutting is completed. As long as the idle stroke of the tool is reduced, the operating efficiency of the tool can be improved. For point controlled CNC lathes, only high positioning accuracy is required, and the positioning process can be as fast as possible, while the motion path of the tool relative to the workpiece is irrelevant. In terms of machine tool adjustment, the initial position of the tool should be arranged as close as possible to the bar material. In terms of programming, it is necessary to use as few tools as possible to machine the parts according to their structure, so that the tools are as dispersed as possible during installation, so that they do not interfere with each other when they are very close to the bar material; On the other hand, since the actual initial position of the tool has changed from the original one, it is necessary to modify the reference point position of the tool in the program to match the actual situation. At the same time, combined with the fast point positioning command, the idle stroke of the tool can be controlled within the minimum range to improve the machining efficiency of the machine tool.
