Differences between New Machine Renovation and Old Machine Overhaul Lathe Renovation

① The main shaft and tailstock parts of the new machine have not been modified, and there is no need for further modification of the main shaft and tailstock parts.
② Due to long-term use, the guide rail of the old machine overhaul lathe has been worn out. In order to ensure that it can continue to be used for a long time without deformation after the overhaul, a quenching process must be carried out, and then the guide rail must be ground, and the hardness of the guide rail must be ensured to be ≥ HRC47 after grinding.
③ The old machine overhaul lathe should undergo transformation and adjustment of the main shaft and tailstock parts according to customer needs.
The accuracy inspection of new machine renovation and major machine tool renovation is an important item for inspection
The accuracy inspection shall be carried out in accordance with JB/T8324.1-1996 "Precision of Simple CNC Horizontal Lathes".
The precision quality control of the new lathe transformation is as follows
① Scraping inspection. The new lathe transformation involves scraping the supporting surfaces at both ends of the X-axis and Z-axis screw rods, scraping the ball screw bracket and bed saddle, and scraping the bed body and bed saddle guide rail pairs. The spindle and tailstock parts of the lathe have not been removed. The inspection method is as follows: color the mating surface, combine the mating surfaces with each other, and rub them relative. Then, check the number of scraping points on the scraping surface, and use a feeler gauge to check the degree of bonding at the junction.
② Parallelism inspection between the screw rod and the guide rail: When assembling the screw rod, the parallelism between the screw rod and the guide rail must be ≤ 0.02mm.
③ The straightness (only allowed to be convex) of the guide rail in the vertical plane in item G1 of the accuracy inspection should be guaranteed by the ordinary lathe manufacturer and is not a key inspection item.
④ The spindle accuracy G4, G5, and G6 items in the accuracy inspection should also be guaranteed by the ordinary lathe manufacturer and are not considered as key inspection items.
⑤ The equal height of the two top points of the G11 bed head and tailstock is guaranteed by the ordinary lathe manufacturer and is not a key project for quality control of the renovation manufacturer.
Accuracy inspection of user overhaul lathe transformation
Due to the grinding of the guide rail and the change of the reference plane, all items in the accuracy inspection must be inspected and strictly controlled to ensure the performance after the modification.
