Mold process flow
1、 Mold design
Mold design is the first step in the entire mold production process, which requires designing the structure of the mold and the dimensions of each component based on product requirements and process conditions. In the design process, it is necessary to consider factors such as the shape, size, accuracy requirements, and production efficiency of the product. At the same time, it is also necessary to choose appropriate mold materials and processing methods based on the actual production situation.
2、 Die material selection
The selection of mold materials directly affects the quality and service life of the mold. Therefore, when selecting mold materials, it is necessary to consider factors such as product requirements, material mechanical properties, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance. Commonly used mold materials include carbon steel, alloy steel, high-speed steel, hard alloy, etc.
3、 Die processing
Mold processing is a key step in manufacturing molds, including steps such as material preparation, rough machining, semi precision machining, precision machining, and polishing. During the machining process, it is necessary to ensure the shape and dimensional accuracy of each component, while also paying attention to machining efficiency and cost control.
4、 Mold assembly
Mold assembly is the process of assembling various components together to form a complete mold. During the assembly process, it is necessary to ensure the positional and fitting accuracy of each component, while also paying attention to assembly efficiency and cost control.
5、 Mold debugging
Mold debugging is the process of testing and adjusting the mold after assembly to ensure that the mold can produce products that meet the requirements. During the debugging process, it is necessary to monitor and adjust the hydrodynamic characteristics, pressure, temperature, etc. of the mold, while also paying attention to debugging efficiency and cost control.
6、 Mold acceptance
Mold acceptance is the quality inspection and evaluation of molds that have been debugged to ensure that they meet production requirements. During the acceptance process, it is necessary to inspect and test the shape, size, accuracy, hardness, etc. of the mold, while also paying attention to acceptance efficiency and cost control.
7、 Mold maintenance
Mold maintenance is the daily maintenance and upkeep work carried out to ensure the normal operation of the mold and extend its service life. This includes steps such as cleaning, lubrication, inspection, and adjustment. At the same time, it is necessary to regularly replace the vulnerable parts of the mold to ensure the production efficiency and product quality of the mold.
8、 Mold scrapping
When the service life of the mold expires or cannot be continued for other reasons, it needs to be scrapped. Scrapped molds need to undergo safety and environmental protection treatment or be scrapped in accordance with relevant regulations. At the same time, it is necessary to analyze the reasons for scrapping and summarize experiences and lessons to avoid similar problems from happening again.
一、 Molten aluminum alloy (operator: Molten Chemical)
1. The temperature of the furnace should be controlled between 630 ℃ and 680 ℃.
2. Observing the melted aluminum liquid, the suitable aluminum liquid for production appears bright white. If the aluminum liquid appears red, it indicates that the furnace temperature is too high. If the aluminum liquid is in the shape of ice cream, it indicates that the temperature is too low
3. It is strictly prohibited to mix impurities during the aluminum melting process, and it is prohibited for operators to privately put unqualified products into the furnace for remelting. If any products need to be remelted, they must be inspected and confirmed by the team leader before being put into remelting
4. Keep the aluminum liquid level stable and free from dross and bubbles. When scooping the aluminum liquid for die casting, the oxide layer and impurities on the surface of the aluminum liquid must be scraped off.
5. During the production process, powder refining agent and slag remover must be added twice in each shift in the furnace, with an average of once every 4 hours. The entire filling process must be carried out under the guidance of the team leader. After the operation is completed, impurities generated from refining must be cleaned before casting production can proceed.
6. During the production process, the bottom aluminum slag must be cleaned at least twice per shift, with an average of at least once every 4 hours.
7. All tools that come into contact with aluminum liquid must be dried first, and must be kept absolutely dry and clean, without impurities entering the aluminum liquid.
8. During the aluminum melting process, if excessive impurities are found in the aluminum ingots or returned materials, the same type of aluminum ingots or returned materials should be immediately put back into the furnace and reported to the team leader and workshop director in a timely manner.
二、 Mold installation (operators: operators, maintenance workers, team leaders)
1. Firstly, it is necessary to determine the accuracy of the mold model and ensure the integrity of the mold.
2. The assembly of molds should be completed with the joint assistance of operators, maintenance workers, and team leaders.
