1. Definition of injection molding

2. Basic Principles of Injection Molding
The basic principle of injection molding is to use the injection pressure of the injection molding machine to forcibly inject plastic raw materials into the mold, and the plastic melts and fills the mold cavity under high temperature and pressure. During the injection process, plastic raw materials are subjected to shear forces, causing them to flow and fill all corners of the mold. After the plastic cools and solidifies, the product is taken out of the mold.

The process parameters of injection molding mainly include injection volume, injection pressure, injection speed, mold temperature, and plastic temperature. These parameters have a significant impact on the quality and performance of the product. 6. Injection molding defects and solutions
During the injection molding process, various defects may occur, such as burrs, shrinkage marks, bubbles, warping, etc. Flash is a phenomenon of plastic overflow, mainly caused by excessive injection pressure or improper mold design. Shrinkage marks are dimensional changes caused by plastic shrinkage, mainly due to insufficient injection pressure or high plastic temperature. Bubbles are caused by the presence of gas in plastic, mainly due to the high temperature or rapid injection speed of the plastic. Warpage is a deformation caused by uneven internal stress in plastic, mainly due to uneven injection pressure and temperature. To address these defects, methods such as adjusting process parameters, optimizing mold design, and controlling plastic raw materials can be used to solve them.
