The principle and structure of wireless chargers mainly include the following aspects:
1. Electromagnetic induction principle: The wireless charging system mainly adopts the electromagnetic induction principle, which couples energy through coils to achieve energy transfer. When the distance between the sending end (i.e. wireless charger) and the receiving end (i.e. device) is within a certain range, the alternating current at the sending end will generate an alternating magnetic field, and the receiving end will generate current inside itself through magnetic induction, thereby achieving energy transmission.
2. Power management module: The power management module is responsible for converting the input AC mains or DC power into DC power and supplying it to the transmission circuit. The main oscillator circuit in the transmission circuit uses an active crystal oscillator as the oscillator. The output square wave is filtered to output a stable sine wave, which is then amplified and output to a parallel resonant circuit composed of a coil and a capacitor for radiation.
3. Transmission circuit module: The transmission circuit module includes active crystal oscillators, filters, amplification circuits, etc. Its main function is to convert electrical energy into high-frequency AC power to supply the primary winding.
4. Receiving circuit module and charging circuit: The receiving circuit module includes coils, capacitors, and other parts, which are used to convert high-frequency AC electricity emitted by the transmitting end into DC electricity to charge the battery. At the same time, the receiving circuit module also needs to cooperate with the charging circuit to control and protect the battery's charging.
5. Coil and capacitor: In wireless charging systems, coils and capacitors are the core components. As the main component of energy transmission, the material, wire diameter, number of turns, and other factors of the coil can affect the transmission efficiency; The function of capacitors is to cooperate with coils to achieve resonance and improve energy transmission efficiency.
6. Magnetic core: For some high-power wireless charging devices, the function of magnetic core is to enhance magnetic field strength and improve energy transmission efficiency.
