1. Principle of heat sink
Radiators generally use external air to cool the water (oil) inside the pipes. That is, the radiator forcibly circulates the circulating water (oil) through a circulating water (oil) pump, and then provides cooling air through an axial fan. The water (oil) flow and air flow form a cross flow arrangement for heat exchange. Heat is first transferred from the hot water (oil) to the inner wall of the cooling pipe through convection, and then to the outer wall of the cooling pipe through conduction, Then, through conduction, the heat is transferred from the outer wall of the cooling tube to the heat dissipation fins, and finally, through convection with the cold air, the heat is transferred to the air and taken away, thereby achieving the goal of reducing the hot water (oil) to the appropriate working temperature.
2.The radiator can be divided into two types of structures based on the installation form of the fan: induced draft type and blast type.
Induced draft radiator
The tube bundle of the induced draft radiator is located on the suction side of the fan (i.e. the fan is located at the top). Due to the good blocking effect of the air duct on the heat exchange fin tube from sunlight, wind, rain, and snow, the induced draft radiator has relatively stable heat transfer performance. At the same time, it has the characteristics of uniform air distribution, less thermal cycling, less fouling, and low noise.
Blown Radiator
The tube bundle of the blower type radiator is located on the exhaust side of the fan (i.e. the fan is located at the bottom), and since the fan motor is always in a cooler air environment, it allows for the processing of higher temperature process media, thereby maintaining a longer service life.
