1. Please confirm that the battery is installed and installed correctly.

2. Place the scale on a hard and flat ground (soft items like carpets can affect the accuracy of weighing), as uneven corners can affect the accuracy of weighing.

3. For initial use, please turn the "OFF" switch of the scale to the desired kg or Lb position, and the foot glass will automatically turn on. Switch the unit to the correct gear and put it into self check mode. When the screen continuously displays "8:88.8" or the weighing weight (about 2 kilograms) is displayed when turning on and landing, wait for it to display "0.0" before weighing.

4. Please stand steadily on the scale surface, with your feet as close to the center as possible to avoid slipping. When weighing, please do not shake, otherwise the weighing value cannot be locked and incorrect display will affect the accuracy of the weighing.

5. After standing firmly, the weighing value will flash three times, then lock and lock the weighing value. After locking, if there is no weighing change, the weighing value will remain for about 6 seconds before automatically shutting down.

6.If "LO -" is displayed after startup, it indicates that the battery is inefficient and should be replaced (3V-CR2032 lithium battery).

7. If the weighing display is "--" or "Err", it indicates an error in weighing and needs to be restarted after the machine is turned on.

8. The weighing display "0-LD" indicates that the weighing is overweight, and it should be restarted after the machine is turned on.

 

Precautions for using electronic scales

1. Keep dry and do not use in areas with water stains. Do not rinse with water.

2. When not in use, do not stack items on the weighing surface to avoid excessive battery consumption and inability to function properly.

3. Do not forcefully strike the scale body to avoid damaging the sensor.

4.If the user does not use it for a long time, they can turn the toggle switch at the bottom of the scale to the middle "OFF" to cut off the power supply; Turn the toggle switch to the left end as "kg" and the right end as "Lb" to select the weighing unit and connect the power.

5. Electronic scales are precision electronic scales that should be carefully stored and used correctly to avoid moisture, falls, collisions, heavy pressure, and exposure to sunlight. Do not rinse directly with water. If the surface is dirty, please clean it with a soft cloth dipped in clean water. It is strictly prohibited to use benzene or nitro solutions or liquid caustic soda for cleaning.

6. When carrying and transporting, it must be handled with care, as the outer shell is easily damaged by external forces.

Common faults and maintenance methods of electronic weight scales

1. Not returning to zero (not returning to zero, not weighing)

a. Check if the output signal value of the sensor is within the standard range. (A/D's total amplification code/internal code range/base code range)

b. If compensation is not possible, please check if the sensor is faulty.

c. Please follow the instructions in the manual to perform weight correction.

2. Inaccurate weighing

a. Observe whether the internal code value is stable, whether there is friction in various parts of the sensor, whether the voltage regulator is stable, whether the operational amplifier circuit is normal, whether there are foreign objects in the circuit board of the A/D circuit, and whether the feedback resistor/capacitor/filter capacitor is poor or leaking.

b. Check if the output signal value of the sensor is within the standard range.

c. Use weights to test whether the four legged scale on the pan measures evenly.

d. Please follow the instructions in the manual to perform weight correction.

3. Unable to power on

a. Please first confirm that the issue is not caused by the fuse, power switch, power cord, or voltage switching switch.

b. Check if the transformer has AC110/220 input and AC18V output.

c. Please remove the battery and turn it on with AC power to see if it is caused by insufficient battery voltage. (When measuring the battery voltage, it should be above 6V. If it is below 5.5V, please charge it. If it is below 5.5V and the battery runs out soon after being fully charged, please replace it.).

4. Poor display

a. Connect the normal LCD pins in parallel with the maintenance scale LCD by hand, and then turn on the machine to observe if there are any similar defects on the normal LCD. If not, it can be determined that the LCD is faulty.

b. Check for oxidation, cold soldering, or short circuits in the CPU pins.

C. Is there any oxidation, cold welding, or short circuit phenomenon in the pins and holes of the LCD.

d. Check for an open circuit in the circuit between the CPU and LCD.

5. Poor buttons

a. Please update the K/B test first. If the new K/B function is normal, it can be determined as a K/B defect.

b. Measure for any open circuit or cold soldering in the circuit between K/B and CPU.

c. Check if there are any signs of poor contact on the K/B foot socket.

d. Measure whether there is a short circuit or open circuit in the diode on the K/B and CPU circuits.
