Optical fibers are mainly divided into two categories:

Type of optical fiber interface connector
(1)FC optical fiber connector: The external strengthening method is metal sleeve, fastening method is turnbuckle. Generally used on the ODF side (most used on the distribution frame)
(2) SC type optical fiber connector: The connector connected to the GBIC optical module, its shell is rectangular, fastening method is to use the plug and bolt type, do not need to rotate. (Most used on routers and switches)
(3) ST type optical fiber connector: commonly used in optical fiber distribution frame, shell is round, fastening method is turnbuckle. For 10Base-F connections, the connector is usually of type ST. Commonly used in optical fiber distribution frames)
(4)LC type optical fiber connector: the connector connecting the SFP module, which is made of a convenient modular jack (RJ) latch mechanism. (Commonly used routers)
(5)MT-RJ: Square optical fiber connector with transceiver integrated, one dual fiber transceiver integrated
ST and SC connector connectors are commonly used in general networks. There is a bayonet fixed in half a rotation after the ST head is inserted, and the disadvantage is that it is easy to break; SC connector directly inserted and removed, easy to use, the disadvantage is easy to fall out; FC connectors are generally used in telecommunications networks, and a nut is screwed to the adapter.

The MTRJ fiber jumper consists of two high-precision plastic molded connectors and optical cable. In the labels indicating pigtail connectors, we often see "FC/PC", "SC/PC", and so on. The meanings are as follows:
