The ADSS cable adopts a loose sheath structure. The 250μm optical fiber is placed in a loose sleeve made of high modulus material, and the loose tube is filled with a waterproof compound. The loose tube (and filler rope) is twisted around the non-metallic core (FRP) to form a compact cable core, and the gap of the cable core is filled with water blocking paste. The cable core is extruded with polyethylene (PE) inner sheath, and then twisted with aramides that play a strengthening role, and finally extruded with polyethylene (PE) outer sheath or electric mark resistant (AT) outer sheath
