GYXTW center beam tube type metal armored cable 1-24 core
Product Description:
The GYXTW cable is constructed by placing 250μm fiber in a loose tube made of a high-modulus material and filling the tube with a waterproof compound. A double-sided coated plastic steel tape (PSP) is longitudinally-wrapped around the loose sleeve, and water blocking material is added between the steel tape and the loose sleeve to ensure the compact and longitudinal water blocking of the cable. Two parallel steel wires are placed on both sides and the cable is formed by extruded polyethylene sheath.

Commonly used outdoor optical cables are divided into two structures: center beam tube and lamination cable:
Central tubular cable: The center of the cable is a loose sleeve, and the strengthening component is located around the loose sleeve of the cable structure type, such as the common GYXTW type cable, the number of cable cores is small, usually less than 12 cores.
GYXTW Cable:
Beam tube: The material of the beam tube is PBT, which is hard and flexible and resistant to side pressure. Some small factories use PP to replace PBT, and the cost can be reduced by half, but the optical fiber is easy to break in transportation and construction. The color of PP is translucent.
Colored fiber: In order to distinguish each core fiber in communication engineering, the bare fiber is squeezed with a layer of colored plastic. Outdoor optical cable is to each core bare fiber with different colors of ink, ink color and indoor cable, is also 12, the Ministry of Information industry industry standard chromatographic arrangement is as follows: blue, orange, green, brown, gray, this (white), red, black, yellow, purple, pink, green. The use of natural colors instead of white is allowed without affecting the identification.
Color lock optical fiber: In order to protect the optical fiber, the surface is covered with a layer of 250 micron translucent resin, and the optical fiber needs to be put on a different color for each core of the optical fiber when making the optical cable, so some foreign optical fiber manufacturers, the production of the optical fiber is covered with 12 different colors of resin, so the optical cable factory does not need to be colored. The advantage of this is to save a coloring process, the disadvantage is that the use of fiber can not be flexible.
Water block: water block is composed of two layers of non-woven fabric between the water block powder, but the cable water, the powder quickly expanded dozens of times after water absorption, producing a jelly like gel to block the water to the cable deeper spread.
Non-woven fabrics: some manufacturers will use non-woven fabrics that are much lower than the cost of water resistance to reduce the cost of water resistance, there is no difference in the outside view, but the fiber optic cable sheath is broken, non-woven fabrics can not block water.
Rolled steel belt: there is rolled steel belt outside the water belt, and the main function of the steel belt in the cable is to resist side pressure, tensile, anti-rat bite, and protect the beam tube.
Steel wire: We see that there are two parallel steel wires outside the steel strip, and the role of the steel wire is to enhance the tension of the cable. The surface of the gray steel wire is phosphating, the surface of the silver steel wire is galvanized, the role is to prevent steel wire rust, galvanized steel wire is more expensive than phosphating steel wire.
Optical cable sheath: Outdoor optical cables generally use medium-density polyethylene (MDPE), and some customers specify high-density polyethylene (HDPE). The cost of using high-density PE is slightly higher. There are also orders specifying low-smoke halogen-free materials (LSZH) as jackets. Many manufacturers will also use recycled materials to make fiber optic cable sheath to reduce costs, this material made of fiber optic cable skin rough, containing a lot of impurities, easy to crack water seepage. The source of recycled materials is to break some wire and cable skins, plastic bottles, slippers, etc. back to the furnace and re-granulate.
Because the optical fiber is only 12 colors, the national standard (also the international standard) center beam tube cable is only 12 cores at most. There are also some non-standard center beam cable more than 12 core, but generally not more than 24 core. The practice is to choose one of the two optical fibers of the same color every certain distance with the inkjet machine spray a bar to distinguish. Optical cables with more than 12 cores are generally laminate.
